Posting Instructions

These publishing instructions are for writers accepted accepted into the guest author program. To become accepted, please submit your work for review here.

  1. Retrieve the account creation notification email sent to your email address and create a new password.
  2. Set up your author bio by editing the ‘Biographical Info’ in your user profile edit area. You will only have to do this once and you can change your author bio at a later date.

  3. Make sure you have a Gravatar assigned to your email address. It does not have to be a personal picture, it can be any image you choose. This image will be displayed within the author meta and author info boxes.
  4. Once logged into the site using your email and password, access the admin dashboard ( and create a draft version of your article.
  5. Be sure to include all images by uploading them directly through the media library.
  6. Set the featured image.
  7. Tag article with appropriate tags
  8. Make sure article content is setup correctly with h1,h2,h3,h4 tags.
  9. Send an email to your pre-contacted editor letting them know you are ready for publishing.
  10. Bonus request: Include 1-5 suggested tweet variations in your email. We may create an extended campaign using our own TweetBoostPRO plugin if we feel the content qualifies for it. Including these tweets will increase the likelyhood that we use them to setup our scheduled Twitter campaign.
